NSW ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS

Here at ECTA we are approved providers for the NSW Active Kids Program

The NSW Government provides $50 (through a voucher system) for eligible families, to contribute to the cost of their child's participation in a chosen sporting activity.

The voucher can be redeemed towards payment of ongoing fees with an approved provider registered with the Active Kids program.

Eligible children aged 4 ½ to 18 years old, enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12, and residing in NSW can apply for an active kids voucher.

This includes students who are home- schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW/or the equivalent.

The voucher:

- Is means tested.

- Is available for each school-aged child in an eligible family.

- Can be used for ongoing training fees for a structured program of at least eight weeks duration.

- Can only be used once with one provider i.e. it cannot be split between multiple clubs or activities.

Parents/guardians/carers must apply for their child’s voucher.

There is no limits on the number of applications per family, so long as each child is enrolled in school in NSW.

An application for a voucher can be made any time throughout the year.
